While that is a great medium-term solution, maybe, just maybe, you should consider the 25th amendment so that a second person isn't needed in the short term pending a change in policy.

Donald Trump is a villain and will always be a villain. This is the man that wanted to use nuclear weapons to cover hurricanes. It's beyond pointless to even speculate, it borders on malpractice.

A shocking thing here is that what appears to be protecting us from unauthorized nuclear launch is a pair of padlocks I wouldn't even trust to keep my beat up bike safe in Oxford.
