If you understand what it's like to lose an election. To see almost a majority of the country want you to lead them and to fail. To let the people you ran for down. To feel like a personal failure. I don't expect her to shake it off and spend the next 4 years banging a drum.

Losing candidates do not have political power. All of this has been played out and analyzed before In terms of optics, you aren't that useful. You aren't actually in office, so you're divisive. You are eclipsing actual legislators. Also, failures look weak with the winner publicly slamming on them

People stanning Kamala with her "political power" aren't actually participating in conversation with actual lawmakers. So, if she cares about legislating, it's still in our best interest to put her on ice for a while. As is standard.

Losing candidates historically take some time. Even the ones we hate. It's not unique. Politicians are human beings. Living outside the DMV and never taking any school field trips makes it hard to see I guess? :P education in this country is rough.
