No- we are not saying arrest the 20 yr old Marines. We are saying arrest the Capt., Maj., Col,. or higher who gave orders to them. You start with Hegseth, this is a crime, he needs to be charged with a criminal act. If you start anywhere other than the top, it's a farce.

Sounds a lot like how J6 prosecutions were handled.

They arrested, charged, and in some cases imprisoned 1600 J6'ers. People in several states were charged, and most pled guilty to, election fraud for trying to send false electors to Congress. Using that evidence, they charged Trump. In this case, "Who gave the order?" is clear. Kegbreath.

I'd say it was pretty clear who gave the order for J6. A substantial part of the reason we're in this mess now is because it took so long for any of this to get to the guy issuing orders that the next election cycle started.

It is only clear via circumstantial evidence. To my knowledge, they've never gotten any of the ring leaders to admit to anyone at higher levels or with the Trump Campaign to admit they were involved. It's why so few people were charged with sedition.

Yup. I get "just following orders" isn’t a valid defense, but I don’t really care about the 20 year old marines right now. It’s the people giving the orders that need to be locked up

Nah arrest everyone who carried out the illegal orders. "I was just following orders" wasn't a defense in the Nuremberg trials, and it won't be here.

You'd be surprised how few actually ever saw a trial anywhere. But as I said, if you don't start at the top, it's a farce. Rifleman from Brooklyn or Iowa, he doesn't have the privilege of deciding if his superiors are lying to him or not. It can't work like that, not in his real job.
