I wouldn't be surprised if there's some kind of AI-generated assignment type in the works.. presumably most readily completed with the aid of a little chat GPT.

It's darkly amusing what gets updated in Canvas and why. E.g. speedgrader is hot garbage and will remain so, there have been two incompatible quiz systems for like 5+ years; no money to be made in making faculty-facing systems less painful to use. Injecting AI into things on the other hand..
