I really enjoy @davidgerard.co.uk 's pivot to ai. He's also very cynical about AI but does the work of backing up his opinions with actual evidence.
also Ed Z's numbers are fine and the objections are *consistently* nitpicking that's immaterial to his arguments i know this genre extremely well from the coiners the other one is where the whining about tone is in direct proportion to how number-based Ed's post is, cos he says "fuck"
No you see Ed is being extremely unfair to the AI companies because his numbers are from the actual present rather than the imaginary future where agents are real and the cost of inference has dropped and my children return my calls
