I use it for 2 reasons: I forget to pay the bill even tho I have the money in my account so this way I don't get late charges. Second, many companies give U a lower price if you place it on autopay. I need 2 read my emails regularly, I'd be better off. They send too many emails & I fall behind.

. Here is what I do. My CU has "bill payment" w/protection; I can cancel a payment I made due to cancellation, fraud, I forgot what the other is. I let the BIG bank/CU to deal w/that other big corp. See if your CU offers payment protection. Doing what is best 4 you is what you need to do. 🫶
