There is a Great Snoring and a Little Snoring in Norfolk. Either of those would reflect my habitual state!
😆 Scotland got a Pool of Muckhart (top right) and a Fallin (bottom left) . . .
😬 Ooops i forgot that was supposed to be a map not a panda, here's the map
Ah thanks, I am afraid that I don't know Scotland very well. I once walked from Glasgow to the Isle of Skye, taking in Ben Nevis and a loch or two and I have been to Edinburgh a few times but that's it.
😊 This came from my atheist father (he was married to my god mother but stuck to his principles and wouldn't be god father) who worked producing educational films at Stirling uni for a long time . . .
My wife had a great uncle Jock in Glasgow. He had some very shady friends but was too old to do much himself. I visited him a couple of times too. Having been born in the North East of England, I was the only one in my wife's family who could understand his accent!
Stirring is an interesting town, or city?? I remember taking the dog round a castle
😊 I was fairly young when he lived there so not a lot of memories. Can remember his house had wooden shutters inside the windows . . .
That sounds like an adventure Did your wife let you back I'm the car eventually? 😆 🤣 Tell us why??
No, I walked from Glasgow to Skye with two friends from school when I was 16 We did get picked up by the owner of a Rolls Royce who stopped and offered us a lift because "our bags looked heavy" He was going to the coast to sail his yacht. He talked quietly as the engine was so quiet! Totally chilled
They are delightful motors. Teenage kicks then!
