going through my RSS feed reader is just so depressing, hundreds of articles a day, all bad news. there's just no good news anymore

I agree when it comes to tech news and politics. But elsewhere, a lot of people are doing good things: regenerative agriculture, new education ideas, sustainable construction, etc.
