My first modem was a 300 baud "Might Mo" - no acoustic coupler - around 1980 or 81. I was constantly catching flak for tying up the household phone line :)

I had a Mitey Mo too! On my C64 (I don't think I had it during my Vic-20 era).

I was a c64 guy too. My first experience writing C code came via a C compiler on a ROM cartridge you plugged into the back of the c64. Also learned 6502 assembler on the same machine.
