I’d describe it as white *Republican boomers* because it’s the Republicans who have always denied climate change and also always supported Christian white nationalism. It began in earnest, with Regan Republicans.

With Regan Democrats. Yanno the old white guys in the upper Midwest who gleefully voted for the guy who promised to end welfare queens and affirmative action. Lost on them was the part where he’d just ship union jobs overseas and end welfare at all.
