I mean, I wouldn’t jump straight to steroids without any proof. I think it’s more likely he’s just a closer. Feel like they’re a different breed. Papelbon is a good comparison.

I mean, arguably one of the (if not the) best closers ever. Completely agreed, but not an entirely fair comparison. I didn’t mean every closer was insane. But I think a fair amount of similar to goalies in most sports. Feels like often a screw loose.

I guess I just yearn for old school baseball. I hate a lot of the new rules. I hate the ridiculous salaries, I hate how teams are just a mishmash of “talent” till the next trading deadline. I could go on, thanks for listening. lol
