I agree that we have an absolute failure of leadership in the Dem party - but I will always vote straight ticket Dem - because the alternative is an authoritarian dystopia. If I get the opportunity to vote for a primary challenger for status quo dems, I’m here for it. Until then, all dem, all day.
Well, its not what anyone wants to hear, but thats what happened in 2016 and 2024. Theres no world where any half decent candidate or semicompetant campaign should be losing races to the candidates the gop is rolling out.
100%. To the degree that I have a hard time discerning between establishment dems and ‘moderate’ GOP candidates. The GOP keeps pushing America to the right and demanding we meet in the middle, and @schumer.senate.gov and the like have been happy to oblige. They are trash.
And yet, they are. Voter suppression, in fighting, the first past the post system. It's all being exploited by the GOP who have a serious advantage of having particularly stupid followers. The only weak point they have may be the Epstein files. That's Trump's only Achilles heel with his base.
