It's frustrating to see people continue to excuse him on those grounds (when they absolutely would not entertain it among liberal or right-leaning politicians), or that it took people being personally threatened to wake up to him, but I'm very glad they are and they're welcome to the fight.
I've long thought we need a new left that's actually about coalition building & advocating for social justice in a sane and sensible way, as opposed to this constant ideological one upmanship and valorisation of antisocial behaviour we get with Corbyn and his ilk. We need a Mamdani-type figure.
You go with what you've got. You may not like it, but it's up to you whether you sneer from the sidelines or join in and make it better.
