A Filipino NHS worker with 15 years of service and her family were racially abused and assaulted on 28 August in Manor Heath Park. A Chinese takeaway in York that's served the community for a decade was vandalised with graffiti telling them to "go home". A sitting MP facilitated racial abuse.
Media is out of control, we need to band all US media companies (and Murdoch owned ones as well). The same is happening here in Canada 🫤
I will say though of the three countries Canada is by far doing the best. It's light years ahead of the US as far as social cohesion goes and it's leaps and bounds ahead of the UK.
I've lived here in Canada for nearly 3 years, I regularly hop across the border to the US to see my wife & stepkid, and I lived the first 30 years of my life in the UK, so I've experience of all three places lol. Canada is my favourite place to be.
This is fast becoming the norm in the UK now. Farage and the complicity of a media ecosystem determined to give him an easy ride have made this the mainstream. All the while the Labour government sit on their hands in appeasement, nodding along at worst and saying nothing at best.
It's getting to the point where the UK is barely a country any more; rather it's becoming a nuclear-armed care home for soulless racists.
