Pasta isn't from China, it existed in Italy as far back as Ancient Rome. The rest is correct, though!

Wrong! Pasta originated in China around 3000 BCE, with evidence of noodles existing as early as the Shang Dynasty (1700–1100 BC), though similar dough-and-water dishes were developed independently across the ancient Mediterranean world.

Nope. *Egg noodles* were invented independently in China, but pasta has its own separate and unique culinary tradition that existed as far back as the Etruscans in Italy. The legend that Marco Polo brought pasta from China was invented by the Macaroni Journal to promote pasta in the US.
