Interesting as I live in Missouri and went for my flu shot at CVS today. I wasn’t allowed a COVID shot. I was told insurance isn’t covering this vaccine any longer so CVS will not be providing them moving forward.

Based on my reporting, Missouri is not one of the states where CVS is withholding the vaccine. However, it's very possible they don't have it in stock yet since the FDA only approved it yesterday. It's also unfortunately common for individual pharmacists to give incorrect info about corporate policy

I would recommend trying to book an appointment online, ideally at a different CVS, though I understand in many places that's not possible because there's only one nearby.

I have checked all in the KC area…they “may have one more shipment” but the aren’t expecting more. As a frequent international traveler, I am hellbent to find a vaccine.
