Loved a Newkie! Bottles were always a rip off. Ridiculous now. And they wonder why we're losing pubs like we are.

Tax innit….understand the health drivers, but when you buy alcohol cheaply in the supermarket and you lose the social interaction of a Pub… you’re shifting the cost into mental health issues…

Yes, indeed. There are many issues - tax, minimum wage, national insurance, supermarket booze, inflation, cost of living, energy costs, and greedy bastard breweries/property developers. And the social value of pubs is totally ignored.
