I legitimately want to know where Trump administration officials are going in Washington, D.C., where they feel so frightened all the time. This is a safe, clean city, by and large. I really want to know where they're visiting, because they're not the same places I'm going or my friends/family go.
This Admin is just hanging out with each other, so sketchy people all around.

They feel fine, they feel safe. It's not about their feeling safe or not, it's about inflicting cruelty on a population that does not support them.
They don't feel unsafe. It's about red meat for the base talking about the big bad cities where liberals are running things into the grounds. It has nothing actually to do with real crime.
The right does this about basically every city. The bigger the city the more media attention it gets but pre-Trump you could hear folks who almost never leave their rural counties talk about small regional cities as if they were open war zones.
It's an invented justification for fulfilling the maga fantasy of dominating minorities in Dem-voting cities so they probably wouldn't have a good answer for you unfortunately

While there are of course dangerous areas in DC, as there are in any community of haves and have nots, the worst people in Washington are the Republican politicians who come to the city, contribute nothing, and diss it while living the high life.
