The Trump admin is using a loophole to wrestle spending authority away from Congress. And if we follow this end to its logical extreme, well, we’re a different kind of democracy than we thought.

Voters are rendered unnecessary and powerless when a president cuts funding to projects, agencies, etc. that voters voted for and paid for, and when their representatives fail to represent them and put a stop to it.

You seem like a nice person, and I don't mean to bust your balls, but you can say "he's breaking the law". You can say that because that is exactly what he's doing. It's not really a different kind of a democracy if the chief executive is breaking the law, it's not really a democracy at all, is it?

Democracy has been disappearing since Jan 20. He usurped Congress & courts, ignores popular opinion. GOP can’t stand up even when he is stripping them of power. He turning it into the Russian Duma & SC is aiding and abetting and castigating lower court judges who try to hold the admin accountable.

Come 2026 mid term elections, vote for any candidate that isn’t Republican or in Trumps pocket. #Republicans have done absolutely nothing since 1/20/25. We should demand a refund from the GOP. All they have done in the past 7 months is kiss Trumps ass and fabricate their value in Congress.
