see how the lcx stent leaves a strut out jailing the LAD? Nidus for thrombus, will never fully endothelialize. Also a nightmare if you ever have to get back down the LAD
the idea of "nailing the ostium" has kind of gone by the board. There's a reason bifurcation techniques like DK-crush etc have proven superior if you have to do both legs
Yes, but it probably looks worse on the screen than it really is since there is significant blooming artifact from the metal and possible associated calcium with its own blooming issues.
🤷♂️ just sayin...there's a reason that strategy is discouraged
