I don’t think you have any conception of how much worse and desperate conditions in Germany were during the 20s than in contemporary American history.

I'm not the first or only one to point out the parallels between the rise of MAGA and the rise of Nazism. It's been pretty widely discussed, tbh, especially before his first election in 2016 And everyone keeps saying "shh, it's not the same" and it just keeps getting worse and growing more similar.
