In normal places, public endangerment is illegal. In America our politicians are like maybe you shouldn’t get a vaccination for smallpox, just drink bleach and call me in the never.

A whole lot of ancestors died, or didn’t become ancestors because they died. Also, these people forget that we’ve only been canning since the 19th century.

I suspect if we did the googling we would see that tomatoes and soil were probably more acidic a 100 years. It’s click bait that can literally kill people. Why hate salt this much. It’s preserved food for thousands of years. I get grumpy about this stuff I have too much food safety training

And like, salt is largely fine in healthy quantities. It’s been used as a preservative “by the ancestors” for far longer. People are super silly these days unfortunately.
