I don’t get the impulse of some (not you, the quoted tweet) to keep trying to shame elements of voting public for whom the Biden admin’s abysmal handling of Gaza was disqualifying and who sat the election out since Harris was clearly intentionally not taking a clear position on it
Like… I made the same calculation you did and voted Harris (and knew she would be better on a host of other issues). But I’m ashamed of what we as a party allowed in Gaza and the fact that that broke trust with some voters doesn’t surprise me in the least!
yeah! the fact is that she could have done the right thing, or at least showed an inclination to do the right thing. i have no problem with anyone who walked away when she didn’t
