High fructose corn syrup.
High-fructose corn syrup, targeted mostly by the same people as talk about “seed oils” and don’t actually know any science.
Oof that supersweet thing? How is it made? I assume everyone assumes hyperprocessed?
Converting starch from corn into glucose, and then adding enzymes to convert it partially into fructose. Pretty much as bad for you as any other kind of sugar, but a target nonetheless.
Everything in America is made of corn.
And it’s basically fine as far as that goes!

They got AB InBev to switch Jupiler to corn based beer and I honestly taste it Now it tastes like Dutch Heineken aka horse piss
Eugenicist fascists like RFK Jr. need visible health “enemies” to focus on but they’re never based in scientific reality, just ideology.
It’s a mix of glucose and fructose made from corn starch which probably isn’t significantly different in health effects from pure fructose or glucose, that is to say that any negative effects on health are simply due to overconsumption of refined sugar.
