I think, honestly traversing DC since 1988, it depends on what part of the city, like most cities. I never had a concern with wearing a watch in NW, NE, SE, SW... probably did miss the talk.

LOL, not even close. I was wearing my Atari watch. We walked the length of the Mall to the Capitol, up to Union Station, to the White House, and then back to the car on the Mall. There was a lot of coverage of the Guard in those areas this past week.
