I'm just really tired of people hiding behind religion as an excuse to be fucking vile to members of their own species, and anyone who says "that's actually a cunty way to behave!" being labelled an anti-this-or-thatite! None of us are getting out alive, so be nice to one another! It's not hard!!!

Couldn't agree more, but unfortunately there's a long history of this, and it seems we're too stupid as a species to put the comfort blanket down just yet. I still think it's possible though. At least i hope so.

And under "religion" include absolutely batshit crazy cults (spelling mistakes possible) who honestly think "their" country could manage without other people coming in to do the shitty, back-breaking, under-paid but highly skilled jobs the cultists couldn't do in a million years!

Of course! Communities used to revere those who took the time to observe & remember, who passed on knowledge of weather-lore, crop-growing, medicinal herbs, childbirth. They were wise, and freely(or a very small fee) available to everyone for advice . It was the church that turned them into witches
