I love technical meetings where somebody new joins the discussion and wants to question everything that's been agreed over the last few months.

Yep especially when they could have read up before hand.
"read up before hand".... that's a good one, Peter. I'll have to remember that ;) 😂
I think it's why we slip into retirement. To avoid being locked up for homicide. Though with the care-system as it is, that may become another option as the retirement age is raised.
Deep sympathy. That's an utter pain - and another way of showing off. Loathe it. Don't miss it - but I feel for you!
That's basically what i'm saying, but in manager speak.... "We discussed that in last weeks managers meeting"...
Go Sam!
Had a deputy head come to a meeting and try this. We had all agreed changes in the last meeting but he was "too busy" to attend. I went off on him big style and told him to either attend every meeting and join in or shut up! He sulked at me for a day or two but didn't mention it again.
No more resistance from him then, Mr Ohm? ;)
😉
this is my life
It wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't a manager who should know better.
Arghhh!
