Everything we're discussing in this meeting has been discussed in other meetings. It's adding zero value to the project but the person hosting the meeting is too weak to control the meeting properly.

I once worked for an organisation which as part of minutes made you record the cost of the meeting and its outcomes. Boy, did it cut down on meetings

I like that idea. There's 10 people in this meeting.... 8 of them high level managers. Imagine what that's costing per hour.
