Which Constitution? The Constitution of 1787 is no longer in force. Neither the executive, nor the legislative, nor the judicial branch, upholds or even pretends to obey it. It has been abrogated and is no longer the supreme law of the land. Making a new Constitution will tax our fortunes & honor.

More than that, we owe our ancestors more than that. My grandfather ran away at age 14 to join the British Navy in 1914. After his mother dragged him home from Canada, he was allowed to join the U.S. Navy in 1916. This man also volunteered for Naval service at the start of WW2. 1/2

Another protest idea would be a, “NO SALE”, week. Pick one week to not shop or spend a dime anywhere but a grocery store. No movies, restaurants etc. I know some small retail will suffer, but democracy has a cost and everyone needs to contribute.

What’s it going to take to get people into the streets? Feels like everyone is sleepwalking through this nightmare of democracy being stolen out from under us. Small protests on street corners ain’t gonna cut it. We need nationwide strikes like they do in Europe. Shut it all down for a day or two.
