I'd say I was going to boycott CBS and their advertisers, but I already haven't watched them in a decade or more.

It was subtle but pointed, not searing.

CBS' motives were quite evident when they did a sanewashing of MTG on 60 Minutes.

Love John Dickerson and beleive he is personally sincere but I'm sure he got permission to say this as part of Paramount's attempt to have it both ways. Like Murkowsky voting for the monsterous bill while calling it monsterous.

Well it certainly wasn’t a “searing” take and it’s not going to get huge numbers (virally speaking) so it was safe enough to keep his job. Somebody approved the script; that was NOT off the cuff. More corporate BS.

I hate to say it, but that was weak sauce. Verbose, opaque, empty. The only truly honorable option would be to resign. I understand that’s easy to say when it’s not me sacrificing a career and income on principle. But I don’t see how the audience can continue to trust CBS News in these circumstances
