Ah, that's great! Never seen the USified movie.
Ah, that's great! Never seen the USified movie.
Same. Might put it on the list.
Will definitely put it on the list.
Ah yes! Although I know it under the West German title, “Endstation für Neun”.
Never been able to find the movie
Found another pair of paperback lurkers. ‘Coo Killer’ in green Penguin and ‘The Man Who Went Up In Smoke’ by Sjowall & Wahloo.
These are excellent!
Great covers on them
When I was a kid, the Martin Beck books were so widely read and discussed by the adults around me that I knew the name Per Wahlöö better than Agatha Christie. And I had no idea there was a co-writer. No one mentioned her, ever.
I even read some of them, so you’d think I’d remember her name… but I must have just thought of them as the Per Wahlöö books my family liked so much.
Sjöwall & Wahlöö kick Christie's arse in every way; their characters are three-dimensional and the novels are pricklily political.
Yes, I really should revisit
There are a number of baffling nymphomaniacs but yes.

I would buy that album.
