Bluesky. I wanna add more spooky indiegames on my wishlist on PS5. Hit me with your favorites. I've played and loved Bramble: The Mountain King and Little Nightmares. Currently playing the second Little Nightmares game. 🙏🙌🫶

SOMA is a must play if you haven't already
I.... already own the game. 🤨 wth. 😂
Must be a sign 😂
Lmao, right? Must been discounted at some point. 😃
Soma is definitely on my list. 🫡
Did you ever play Limbo? It's been out a while, but it ticks the spooky boxes.
Oh, yeah! Forgot about that game. I have played it. Liked it quite a bit. 🙂↕️
Fractured Blooms from @serenityforge.com sounds like it’ll fit~
My kind of ask, I can’t really differentiate between spooky and straight up horror though soooo 👻 - Layers of Fear 2 (I’ve not played the first but they’re not connected) - Blair Witch - Bendy and the Ink Machine (not played the sequels yet) - Visage (obviously) - Still Wakes the Deep - SOMA
Spooky, horror, unnerving, uncomfortable. Bring it all. Will check those out. Thanks!
Untold Stories Seen Limbo Inside Mouthwashing Home All pretty creepy games
It's a damn shame Mouthwashing isnt on the ps store. 🫤
Lots of good recommendations in here. I'll add, Song of horror and Beast Within.
Definitely! I'm really thankful to people's suggestions. Will check those out now, thanks. 🫡
Inside, Crow Country, Alien Isolation
Crow Country! I definitely wanna get that. I saw it got a physical release so will get that. 🙌
It might be worth it to check out Gylt.
Yep! I own that game. Absolutely planning to play that at some point. 🫡
It's more like an introduction into horror games but I had a good time with it. I hope you'll enjoy it when you're getting around to it.
Dredge is a must and the comments know it 😌 Not pure indie bc it got help publishing from Square (making it west for the first time for this dev!) but if you are down for visual novels, I will stan Paranormasight the Seven Mysteries of Honjo so hard 😤
I recommend choo choo charles, tormented souls, and signalis
Thank you! I really do need to play Signalis soon.
You are welcome! It does have it scary moment, but i really enjoyed it. It's definitely worth it
Killer Frequency is a fantastic, short, spooky game - little bit of a walking simulator, with fun puzzles in the DJ booth of a small town radio station. It's also included if you have the PS+ subscription. Hard recommend! store.playstation.com/en-ie/produc...
That does sound interesting. 🤔 Thanks! Adding.
All Yomawari games and Gylt
Ender Lillies is a nice spooky Metroidvania. Especially the final areas.
Ooooh. I loved Ender Lilies. 😃 Magnolia is definitely on my list. 🫡
One step ahead of me, eh?🙂 Alright, then let's try: -Detention (Taiwanese horror game) -Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water (survival horror) -Dead Island 2 (action horror) -Metal Hellsinger (rhythm action game set in hell) -The Vanishing of Ethan Carter (melancholy narrative game)
The Fatal Frame games are awesome! 😊 Played Dead Island 2 with a friend and had a good time. Added Detention. Thanks!
If your looking for recommendations id give Dredge a go if you haven't played it super fun and has the lovecraftian horror vibes
Oooh! I've definitely heard about that game. Was pretty big at release. Adding to list. Thank you! Would you happen to know if it got a physical release?
Yeah it had a physical release eventually but I've owned it both on my PlayStation and Nintendo Switch It's such a good game
Sweet!
A worthy addition to the list. Dredge was awesome!
Tormented Souls is a brilliant homage to survival horror, if that's your thing. Highly recommend!
Also, MADiSON!
I've actually played a couple of hours of that. Dunno why I didn't continue. 🤔
Hope you give it another chance! How did you get on with the Resident Evil games? I think you were just starting one when I took a break
Aaah... I'm still on the first game. 🥲
Not enjoying it too much or just getting caught up in with other games and stuff?
Caught up in other games. I do wanna go back to it! September and october will be super busy for gaming for me, but maybe I'll dive back in after. 🫡
Not gone through it myself yet but always heard great things about Signalis!
Yeah, me too! I do own a physical copy of the game. 😊 It looks right up my alley.
If you're open for point n click adventures I highly recommend Fran Bow! It's currently on sale as well. Also the Death Mark/Spirit Hunter series is great for visual novels. And games I haven't played yet but that gained great reception: World of Horror and Signalis.
Wow! Fran Bow looks super cool. I actually own Death Mark I&II, but haven't gotten to them yet (story of my life lol). Thank you so much!!
I'll second Fran Bow too!! Finished it last night after I picked it up in the sale and it definitely has atmosphere 😂
The backlog curse, I know it all too well 😆 Enjoy whenever you get around to your spooky games!!
Oh, yeah! I watched a little of that game. Neat concept.
I don’t actually play a lot of super creepy ones, but I play some about death? I don’t have a PS5, so dropping names *in case* they show up there. Spiritfarer, Cozy Grove, The Wild At Heart
Dang! I own 2 of those games. Spiritfarer and The Wild At Heart. I might have to bump them up a bit priority wise. 👀 I know Spiritfarer is gonna break my heart, so I've been kinda waiting to be in the right mood for it.
I totally understand 🫂💜
