I watched when Bobby Kennedy was shot live on TV. It affected my political thinking profoundly. I was 16 years old. I will never forget it. I was 11 when JFK was killed. It was one of the few times I saw my dad cry. That and when MLK died. Makes for a traumatic childhood.
