Discovery's season 1 and 2 ship designs were garbage, and I always hated the uniforms, but I did like the 2250s props.

Yes exactly, the props were the only things that looked like they belonged in the universe it was supposedly set in.

The first season starship designs were particularly bad, and the CG models were rotten. I know Pixomondo were a relatively last minute replacement for CBS Digital, but their work was very poor, even considering the time constraints. Some of it looked worse than Babylon 5. 😬

Pretty rough both in design and implementation a lot of them. I like that for SNW a lot of them are being refurbished with proper cylindrical warp nacelles.

The models are still pretty rough, but they've got the sense to leave them in the background as digital set dressing.
