Based on Netanyahu saying Iran will have nukes? He has been saying that since the 90s and somehow the nuke never materializes. He also swore Iraq had WMD. Ironically this will make a nuclear Iran almost inevitable but Netanyahu, like Trump, doesn't think beyond the short term.

Attempting to answer the original question…Evangelical Christians believe that this Bible verse is a commandment to support Israel. I grew up being taught this. “I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”
