If the military is so effective at fighting crime why have none of the 4,500 Republican elected officials called for military to "help" fight crime in their area? Does Mace represent Chicago or South Carolina? Johnson Shreveport or Chicago?

They've all dodged on actually answering yes or no. They just keep either talking about DC or mention "it's an ongoing conversation".
Because the actual truth is that none of these elected Republicans want their communities hassled by their National Guards either because they know so long as they keep them to blue areas they'll face little pushback from their own voters.
Yep and because the purpose is to intimidate blue areas into voting for the Dear Leader. Red areas already are voting Republican so no gain for the regime.
And good luck with that.
Because answering would expose them as hypocrites and Trump's move as authoritarian, not about crime. Yet I've only seen Fox reporters ask this question of Republican electeds. Where's the rest of the media?
The honest response is that politicians have learned they can just skate by any question by giving a bs answer knowing that interviewer usually won't argue with them and will move onto another topic. At best they'll do a "we want to remind" fact check but they say that to viewers not the politician
Her state was just ranked the Fifth most dangerous in the country.
