Mamdani voted for Harris. He just didn't go out of his way to campaign for her. This went unnoticed because he was an unknown state legislator in a city Harris easily adult won. It's been brought up after the fact to justify Schumer, Jeffries, Hochul, Gillibrand not supporting him.

You know, I'm gonna have to do my own proverbial research at this point because I keep getting conflicted reports about to what degree and whether he did or didn't and like I said: I personally am not that fussed, *with him.* Gillibrand can eat my entire ass.

Schumer's pissed me off for a number of reasons, not least for basically supporting universities censoring pro Palestinian protesters. That said--ugh, there's a lot here.

There's a lot of Discourse on here right now and it inevitably seems to come back to "are you, or have you ever been, a supporter of Israel" which--not here, I'm just saying I have some context right now?--seems to quickly elide into "throw ALL the bums out" & some rapid descents into horseshoe.

So, yeah, I'm gonna have to come back to this one, sorry. I'll just say this orthogonally: I loathe Newsom with a fiery passion for several good reasons. Do Not Want as POTUS. I'm holding it at the same time as "ok if you can do something to fuck Trump's shit up, I can prioritize." You know?
