The rub is ALL the social platforms are supposed to start doing it. BlueSky is just the first to comply. Children to need to be protected but I’m not sure if capturing biometrics or other PII is the right solution.

Nope, no way would I allow my face to be scanned nor would or will I use a ccard (which I do not hold) to verify who I am for age verification. They either accept my declaration or I would cancel.

Mighty Networks is doing the same thing. I have no idea who/what Yoti is but my face, like anything else about me, is mine and I am very particular on whom/what gets to see it. I won't chance it being used on AI for any reason. We're all a little too lax when it comes to online security.

It's an awful thing that doesn't work. A WWE video game character bypassed the face checker. I use a VPN which would bypass any of this anyway. Tea dating app leak also shows you should be extra careful when uploading photos, ID or financial info to ANY website.
