(a) We need to place these numbers in perspective. The next quarter will be a more definite indicator (b) It takes time to pivot an entire economy from dependence on a single client to cultivating trade with a number of other more dependable partners. Just saying.

(c) We ARE going to go through a difficult period, but we are going to come out the other side--in spite of the Opposition Leader's constant whiny nonsense. (d) Canadians need to join in the effort, double down, and buy preferably Canadian, but always non-US goods and services as much as possible.

We are in for some harder times but we will bounce back bigger and stronger. We have good leadership in place and even if I dont love every decision, I do recognize the rationale behind them and am trusting the process of someone a lot smarter and with a massive amount of experience in this area.

Supporting a party that worships trump & has a leader who cannot get a current security clearance (so should be treated as a national security threat) is not only not the answer. It now borders on treason.

It was going to happen anyways. The tariffs only hastened it and will make it worse. They don't seem to understand if we start laying off people, they end up laying off even more people. It's a vicious cycle of dumbassery on the part of the US. Cutting your nose off to spite your face.
