As a Veteran, I would like to make a request. If you have the National Guard in your city, please don’t harass the troops. They don’t want to be doing any of this. And, we need them on our side.

If they truly don't want to be doing this, they have the right, no, in fact the duty to refuse to obey unlawful orders. Their oath is to the Constitution, not the fake president. Or, they can delist while we have a dictator wannabe in the WH and re-enlist once the fascist regime is obliterated.

They are not "on our side" if they accept orders that include harassing citizens. And occupying our peaceful cities in support of a despot IS a form of harassment.

Someone here commented that they are "not deployed, it is a 'presence patrol'." Exactly. Their presence is meant to intimidate and to put Americans on notice that we are going to be treated as the enemies of this regime unless we cower and grovel like his lickspittle cabinet.

We spent the day on Sunday chatting with several troops. They are not getting harassed on the Mall. They also said they are not deployed, this is a presence patrol. We learned a lot from the conversation. No photos, no recordings, just people talking to each other.
