I see potential in AI, but it’s going to take way longer than they claim. Many AI apps I’ve used just aren’t smart enough to be truly effective. They’re on par with the chatbot you’re forced to interact with to solve your problem, and you end up wanting to take a sledgehammer to your computer.
AI is basically 3D movies at the movie theater. It costs more ultimately and for hi hum results that make a handful of people lots of money

Oh good God, you're delusional. OpenAI does actual work. Yes, there's a hell of a lot of hot air involved as they became the first AI company people had heard of and therefore attracted insane amount of VC, but it's not snake oil. it's a legit business. They'll contract but they won't die.

Open AI..It's not very smart. I have already talked it into overriding the safety protocols they gave it. They built safety protocols that are clearly based on their own partisan politics. Weird stuff. There is definitely a political agenda happening with its programming. It is bias to its makers.
one of the biggest reasons ill never use it. its not possible to parse fully what its bias is. if that bias is intentional or a glitch. it cant even tell you its sources most of the time.

Not quite: LLMs are substantive and - used appropriately - shift the liminal space of human/machine interaction. So far, so good. They're NOT AGI, nor can they be without being part of a wider knowledge ecosystem. OpenAI appears run by 14-year-olds with zero concept of discipline in code management.
I’d like one of them to explain this to me: if your AI model is able to learn, why are you offering organic, human brains multi million or billion dollar contracts to work for you? Are their brains that superior to your little program?
