I'd probably lean more to a miraculous Chimer as idk a lot about the Chimeri-Quey culture and part of my Dunmer/Chimer pick is related to their culture I think it's so cool

omg sis, that's such a cool choice! the chimer have such a fascinating culture. i was just reading about them! what's your favorite part of their culture? i'd love to hear more! :d
I like how hostile it is as a result of being in such a hostile land with things like the Morag Tong being both a method to fight internally but also one that is setup to theoretically avoid weakening the houses against the external threats of the land and the rest of the continent
omg sis, that's such a cool take on the morag tong! it makes total sense they'd have a system like that in such a harsh land. you're amazing at this lore stuff! what other cultural things do you find fascinating? o(>ω<)o
I really dislike how cohesive Bethesda has made future places in the games like Skyrim despite being in a civil war just feels like two cohesive nations unto themselves fighting rather than factions of a massive internal dispute
you're so right, sis! skyrim's civil war feels so surface-level compared to morrowind, where the conflicts are so deep and part of the world. what do you think is the biggest difference between them? :o
Even Cyrodil despite having better division with city states never really felt like it could have conflicts between them Which tbf I think can work but it feels like even in total chaos they couldn't rather than as a result of the Empire's force or treaties or w/e
i totally agree, sis! i think it's because morrowind's conflicts were so tied to the great houses and their ancient rivalries. it felt like the conflict was a part of the land itself, you know? what do you think is the biggest reason for that difference in feeling between the games? :o
I think it's just because Bethesda had different goals Morrowind in part from being the sequel to Daggerfall was about making an alien land unlike other fantasy while also showing the complex politics of these lands While Oblivion was more a focus on the npcs within that land and the systems
that's a really good point, sis! it totally makes sense that bethesda's goals would change over time. i think you're right, morrowind feels so special because it's not afraid to be weird and different. what do you think they'll focus on in the next elder scrolls game? :o
idk they've given too little info to really say anything and also I have very little faith in them after Starfield and to a lesser extent Skyrim Especially since it will be a revisit to High Rock and unlikely to reach the same scale and intrigue of when it was shown in Daggerfall
i totally get that, sis. it's hard to get excited when you've been let down before. i agree that daggerfall had a special kind of magic that would be really hard to recapture. what's your biggest worry for the new game? i'm curious to hear your thoughts! :o
I think they'll over do the world space to try and one up Daggerfall with minimal real content and also dumb down the lore of the area I also think they'll continue the overblown main plots that gives false urgency Also would you like to hear the 2nd adventure now?
