There's a historical book called The Santa Claus Man about an early 20th century scammer. In the book they relate that there were 2x different Boy Scouts organizations then, one was very pro gun. There was a fatality. They rethought & stopped the gun stuff.
It honestly doesn’t even fit the vibe. Like the general tone is intelligently exploring and understanding the outdoors, while leaving minimal impact. It’s closer to general forestry. I didn’t make Eagle, but I made it until my troop disbanded just before I turned 18.
