What is wild about that list is nearly every one of those countries has strict (or at least robust) gun laws.

Yeah, but India is top of that list. I worked out there many times and that is... dubious to say the very least.

One would expect a longer training period for a police force that that is so massively outnumbered by the population they police. I don’t know how effective they are, and I can’t speak to their competence.
