I depend on SSRIs to function without constant panic attacks. My nervous system was constantly fried until my early thirties, when I was prescribed them. I'm terrified of not having that tool anymore.

Same here. I don't want to imagine what fresh hell my mind will make for me to live with, constant negativity and doubts.
