You sure you can’t just go ask them and then respond?
Way to deflect.
Have you considered asking them? You might be more likely to get a response since you're both part of the city and working together on the same project.
Oh boy heck of a start here
I’m sorry but whenever I’ve managed to get an answer from Parks, they say it’s up to SDOT to make final decisions on the roadway. Which is it? From the PDRs, it’s clear that the Mayor’s Office requires final review of every communication and decision on LWB now. Stop playing cover for Harrell.
Terrific. More the merrier. Your turn, Parks. Why the 50% discount on the fully greenlit project? That hit and run at Gennessee park a few weeks ago not enough evidence for you that without some physical moderation, cars will absolutely tear through LWB?
Scrolling back through their timeline, it looks like the social media person at Parks has never replied to a post, not even once, so we’re basically sending messages into a trash can here
The same trash cans that Parks parks their massive trucks on to empty instead of just parking at the curb.
On *the sidewalk, yeesh
Adding @cmmarksolomon.bsky.social who represents the area CM Solomon: Why did the city step away from the needed speed control measures along LWB and push them to some undefined Phase 3 of the LWB improvement plan? Can you please help get a straight answer from SDOT and Parks?
Hi Rodrigo, please email our office at: mark.solomon2@seattle.gov and christine.hendrickson@seattle.gov and/or let me know if you'd like to stop by our In-District Office Hours on Friday 7/25 to talk about this. - Chris, Comms Director for CM Solomon
Hi Chris. I think most of your constituents would like to know the answer to this question, so hopefully it reaches more than just a constituent who asks the question in office hours!
Thank you, Kyle! Noted. - Chris
Thanks CM Solomon. I will resend you a note that I sent to Parks copying you from July 9. I’ll include Christine. I’ll try to swing by District Office Hours, but really the onus is on Parks to explain the reversal of their plan to calm traffic.
