Doesn't have to be broad spectrum electronic countermeasures. They already track all legitimate flights in their airspace, and have already identified and tracked hostile foreign aircraft. You're describing a standard challenge, not something so insurmountable airspace violations must be accepted.

Counter-UAS is a huge challenge and Congress has debated it since 2021 or so without resolution where the security agencies on the one hand want more authority and the FAA on the other are concerned with its impacts. Both sides have good points. It’s not as easy as saying “we track airplanes”
