I'm sure that there are companies who have incurred fines for hiring undocumented workers however, it is not on a broad scale. Corporations are always protected while the workers, regardless of status, are the ones that suffer.

Much of it here in the US also has to do with corporate greed. It isn't true that corporations can't pay a fair wage. It's just that if they pay a fair wage with benefits, CEOs might only be able to buy one yacht instead of two.
