Finding a middle ground is the process of reaching a compromise between two opposing views or positions. It involves recognising/respecting different perspectives to create a balanced solution that satisfies both parties. Well excuse me for not moving halfway to meet racists/facists to placate them!

Completely different situation, We didn't lose a war that resulted in us having to give away territory thus Causing massive resentment. have you actually studied history leading up to the 2nd WW perhaps if you had done so you might not be making such rash comments.

Missing the point completely that you don't compromise on the rights of vulnerable groups to appease the so called "middle ground" who have been poisoned by the drip drip of bigotry against minority groups. Asylum seekers, people of colour, women and LGBTQ+ rights are not bargaining chips.

I think the line has to be where the rights of people are diminished. Details can be thrashed out, but they have to maintain the red line of rebutting racism, xenophobia and narratives that dehumanise entire groups. You do have to win people over though, I agree. Have a great weekend.

It's sure is a crazy world and getting crazier by the day , my wife was an immigrant to this country when she arrived in 89 and I've seen how much she has contributed for the good of this country makes me sad to say that she's suffered more abuse in the past 4 years then in the previous 31 . But ?
