Visitorship is way up at Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks, yet staff have been seriously cut. The NPS budget for 2025 is 13% less than requested, and 6% less than 2024. The 2025 budget for NPS is 3.122 billion. Compare that to what the NPS brings in: over 55 billion in 2024. Not making sense.
